Horseconch Sanibel 2

I took this shot shortly after loosing my main flash to salt water so

I had to use my pop up flash (image taken at night).

The Florida Horseconch is the largest Gastropod (snail) in North

America and the second largest species in the world. This image was

taken at an extreme low tide prior to sunrise. Protecting equipment

is critical, fortunately both lens and camera (K7) are water proof,

wish I could have said the same thing about my flashgun!

Never see a live one in the wild.  Nice shot.  Nice color.  Best Regards,

Cool shot Douglas! I've never even heard of one of these guys let alone seen one! Thanks for introducing us! Damn shame about your flash!
