Caledonia 0 Posted January 28, 2011 A little cottage midway through Glencoe looks dwarfed by one of it's wonderful mountains. Link to comment
bill_brown8 0 Posted January 29, 2011 I think I've walked that path and wished I'd had an ice axe before I was forced back by the conditions. Great shot. Link to comment
vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted January 29, 2011 This is simply magnificent! Awesome composition: the point of view makes the mountain even bigger; the small fall guides the eyes towards the mountain and the sky.Really nice shot. Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 30, 2011 Beautifully done, Douglas. The water coming down the mountain ties the looming mountain into the house nicely. Nice eye and successful capture in dramatic, yet soft light. Link to comment
chriss1 2 Posted January 30, 2011 I would suggest cropping ~8 % counting from the bottom of photo, but other than this, it's wonderful shot, emphasizing the powerful size of mountains dominating over little building. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted January 31, 2011 It's the contrast of the house, which some family depends on for shelter and safety, set against the overwhelming power and scope of natural elements that really make this photo for me. The colors are superb, as is the composition. Very nicely seen and photographed. Link to comment
