Everything works so well here. The lines on the field matching the sense of moving clouds, and the composition and tones are perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent composition. The only thing I might have tried would be to dodge the right side of the trees a little. But maybe your way works better.

There are lot of elements here that make this composition more than interesting

(baobab tree, lines on the field),clouds effect completes this scene, compliments and seven.

The mighty, untamed baobab which I associate with the lush bush of northern parts of South Africa, transplanted here in a manmade field, and crowned by soft hazy clouds, in stead of the dramatic cumulus clouds Im familiar with. What an image. Cheers!!

Fantastic. The sharpness stretching all the way from the foreground into the branches of the tree really draws attention to the movement in the clouds. powerful.

In this image, my eyes are led straight to the focal point, the tree. This huge tall tree in this vast field gives the image a dreamy feeling. The movement of the clouds and the stillness of the grassy field add on to the surreal theme. Also, the title gives this photo mystery. The lines of the field are a wonderful use of rhythm. The sharpness and texture are strong. The monochromatic colors give the viewer a chance to only focus on the tones and shadows of the image. This is an overall beautiful photograph.

is how I would describe your ability to create what you do!!  The composite (I'm assuming it's a composite) of the tree trunk and the foliage is masterfully executed, if the tree is as it appears then I must make my way to it and photograph it.  Anyway, I would love, although with some trepidation :-) to enter your mind as you come up with your ideas.  This particular image has many elements that others have commented on and that I find wonderful.  For me though, what really makes this one stand out is the soft feel and texture of the sky and the strength and "grit" of the tree and field.  All lines lead the viewer through the image so that no part of this masterpiece is missed out on.  The dark clouds over the tree says to me that "Mother Nature" is about to make another attempt at taking this powerful, time-toughened patriarch down.  Congrats on such a masterpiece.
