Entropy 1940

I like these pictures. They are some kind of a cliché, but they are nice.

This one is a bit too contrasted for my taste. More softness and a tad more grain would suit its "flavour" better.

This is a very convincing conversion exercise with the main object in sharp focus; the contrast is clearer, the sharpness/blur of focus and DOF work better and for some reason, the 'personality' of yore subject comes across more clearly. How far you go from the technical conversion pov is a question of personal taste I guess.

I enjoyed viewing your photo of the old vehicle . well done. I also look for old vehicles, farm equiptment etc. to get photographs of. take care.

Did it seem to you that a softer look would be an improvement?

I guess it is just a matter of personal taste. I love the sharp edginess of this photo. But then again, an automobile like this one would look good regardless of the method of processing....softer, color, sepia, etc. etc. Great shot! Regards, Beth
