A pleasant image with people distractions in the background.  The eye goes to the brightest part of an image which, in this case, is the background.  In order to reverse this so that the attention is on the bride and groom I selected the background starting at the top of the stairs and including the top half of the image.  After lowering the levels in photoshop curves I inverted the selection to deal with the B&G and stairs.  I raised the levels and adjusted the color in curves.  I did a quick perspective correction of the church bell towers using the transform tool.  Total time for me was 15 minutes so you would not want to have to spend that much time on all your wedding images--only the very important ones.  I hope this helps.  Good luck.

John Webster nailed it, IMO.  The people in the background are a terrible distraction, but I hadn't thought about brightening the dress.  Excellent edits.

Thank you, John, Stephen for visit and comments.

The couple don't pose for me, I was in transit in 'Piazza di Spagna', Rome.

John, your editing is very good.

Best regards, Mircea
