My daughter Jenn, who we adopted when she was eight, came nto my

house as a distressed and displaced child, however, she left my house

on Sunday as a strong, independent and self disciplined young woman

heading off to Navy basic training in Great Lakes. My heart overflows

with pride!!!

Nice shot! Looks like you had to focus on her in a group. The photo says a lot.

On the personal side....from an ol' Nam Vet....tell her thanks for serving! Don't know her, but proud of her too!

Haze gray and underweigh!  I remember how cold it was at the Great Lakes in January thru March.  God bless her, and mom, encourage her to get into an Aviation rating.

Although I do not know her.  I am very proud of her for serving her country.  You have every right to be proud!  From a vet!

I'm well known for being a crier...and man! this one did it for me. She's a beautiful girl. You are to be complimented, for without you, then who knows? Oh, and btw, the picture is great, too!

You should be very proud of this honest young lady as well as your skilled photography, I like here how you brought the moments and feeling expression on the face of your daughter plus the remarkable very well alive background which do add a great interest to the composition of this image.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

My sincere congrats to you and your daughter for her accomplishments and for this image. For what it is worth I was adopted as a baby (only child) and you and my parents are very special people. There were minor bumps in the road but they served as life's lessons along the way.
