Thanks for viewing/comments! My first ever witness of the Northern

Pintail mating ritual, while the Mallard nod their head to each other, the

Pintails Male stretch his neck some as a request for mating and then

hop on. Also, after mating the Mallard female is the one that stretch but

yet for the Pintail, the male (this one) is the one that stretch - Just my

observation!

Mercie beaucoup Pierre! I love the eye contact .. kind of cute. :-) - I think the Northern Pintail Duck is one of the most beautiful duck (just behind the Madarin duck). Btw, all that circular water ripples in the background were created by him since he keeps circling around while mating (lucky me since he started out with his tail toward my lens)
