Thanks Michael! Yes, I had the same though, it's like he was trying hard to ... drown her when they mate.

'Drown her with love,' what a great title.  Good detail and clear eyes on both participants.  Chest is slightly hot, but still a great image.

Thanks Monte! I think the chest sort of lost the white details there, this bird is hard to shoot with various colors there. :-) - I will remember to under-expose at least 1 stop next time.
