Kevork has a book, "Jerusalem Through the Eye's of My Father". Those words are over that little photo archway on the wall behind him. All the photos in the shop were taken by his father. The father, 1910-1999, came from Turkey in 1924 as an orphan. Bio of father:  Elia's entire family was massacred during the Turkish Genocide of 1-1.5 million Armenians. Elia was sold as a slave, chased by cannibals, resecued by an American relief organization and taken to Israel where he became a photographer. Now his son has this shop in the "Old City". This is my first day out with the Nikon P7000. Thanks for commenting.

Very well done location portrait of a man among his photographs, nicely done.

Congratulations Meir on buying a new camera. Is the viewfinder on the Nikon P7000 useable? Or is it better to just use the monitor for viewing and composing? From your images I can tell that it has a good quality lens.
