Maria, once again I happen upon one of your images.  And once again I have to say how jealous I am of all your travels!  On this one, I'm wondering if you considered using a polarizer?  In this digital age, that seems to be the only filter I carry around any more and a bit of polarization might have made the sky a bit more dramatic.  Another option:  shoot the same scene, but + or - 30 minutes of sunrise or sunset.  I do like the fact that my eye follows the flow of the ruins from left to right until I find the center of interest--the sailboat.  Keep having fun! Thank you - now as my third research ended funding will be lower, but I still have 2 funded trips a year this and the next, the next trip is to Bruxelles. I hope to have some travels to use my new Nikon camera :) I wish, for example, to see the desert
