How well you have captured the red. Try cutting off the bit of vase and making a square format. I think it works just as well.

Lovely composition Grigoriy of this bouquet of red roses. Once again the 'reds' are perfection. Lovely saturation, rich and regal, they speak of love. Your soft DOF is perfect background, with a splendid presentation. Well done! Most sincerely, Gail

From this studio work I have opposite sensations.

The lighting scheme works fine for the "green" part (mainly leaves), but for the "red" part I feel too much saturation and a light always equal with always the same shadows... and maybe it is exactly the result you were looking for! :-)

Regards

Daniele

While looking through the photos in your portfolio, I noticed so many beautiful images, that it was difficult to pick just one. I love roses. My husband sometimes buys me roses on special occasions. This has to be the best photo I have ever seen of a bouquet of roses! Beautiful color, perfect focus, and just enough light against a black background. I love the reflective light on the vase, too.
