Uplifting - To Eighteen Floors

A new, two tower hotel is being built at the LimKetKai Center in

Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao, Philippines. The fourth floor framing is

visible through the stairs at the lower left. This tower will be

eighteen floors when completed. To the right of the tower-crane a

twenty-one floor tower will be added.

There are few good vantage-points from which to shoot this project, so

I opted for aesthetics and composition rather than structural detail

in this shot.

I have a diploma to work with this stuff and all the other building construction machines!This one, the crane is easiest to work with!

Was in the area today and noticed that they had raised the crane a bit, but they appeared to be stuck!  As I drank my coffee and watched the events unfold it became apparent that their crew of highly-skilled workers had really mucked-it-up and had reverted to the tried-and-true method of hitting it with a big hammer.
