Hakka family clan members living together in Shantou, China.

From the outside, you would not imagine their 'units' look even this good on the inside.  Would the water be from 'leaking roof'?? I'm trying to figure out what the fenced off area is, and is that a pole that supports, or is it one that goes to a lower level??? Most interesting. I should read up more on these fascinating people. There is an open top roof near the far end Gail. And it was raining heavily outside, that's why you see many plastic pots and pans collecting water in the image.
