Thanks MJ! It's a 7 to me too/jk - Actually, I am not sure I can get a better in-flight shot since this one is very close (she was chasing another heron) and was shot with a 5D Mark II, hence, as far as resolution goes it's not going to be much better for an action shot.

Thanks SNN! I really like the 5D Mark II, it's a great camera overall. Take great photo, good with high ISO, make great video (even though I don't use that feature much). On the down side (with birdshooting), it's a bit slow in focusing and there's no crop multiplier that you will need in shooting bird. I've been using the 500mm F4 exclusively with the 1D III lately and leave the 5D II hook on to the 100-400mm.
