Hi Tm J..... another great image. The clairty and definition of the bird is first class. This should be a "heart"-warming image for all birders.

One question though - in the bigger image, the colouring on the bird is deep and rich, yet the tree remains in full sunlight or under-exposed..... can' quite work that one out. PP perhaps?

Good work.

Regards

Thanks Grayham! Actually, the tree is over-exposed and the bird is under-exposed a bit. I probably should have burn-in the tree some. The bird is sort of barely out in a bit of light that manage to slip through the tree foilage and it's a bit weaker than the sun-light that hit the tree trunk. I try to catch this gal again today but could not find her. :-)

Thanks Melissa! Happy to hear from you, I did take the opportunity to have a cursory look through your website and I have to say that of the few shots that I saw you are more than Awesome in your trade. Thank you for stopping by and left your thought! :-)
