I do not know if Sharin is Palestinian or Israeli Arab.

Different black color of a different objects are amazingly captured. The lady  seems in stress.

Stressed perhaps. She was kind to me.

I like it.  Maybe a possible improvement would be to give a little bit more room on the left side.  I think having the bags completely on the picture might result in an even stronger picture.  Ben

I agree. I don't like the bags chopped either. But unfortunately that is how it was shot. I could not move further back because my hands are not steady anymore and I had to brace the camera against a wall. Maybe time to quit photography :-) Thank you for taking time to comment.

Regardless of the chopped off purse, this has a classic look of a woman in the Old City.  She does seem a bit forlorn.  Maybe that's because she's draped in black with utilitarian shoes, alone, waiting, and on those old stones, like Godot.  I like the perspective you chose.  She has a nice face.
