Elstad 7 Posted January 16, 2011 WoW! A very cool portrait indeed in a most wonderful situation. I love the vintage quality of this fine image. It seems as if it could have been made in the 30's. Bravo! -r- Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 16, 2011 Dominic,Chloe is a beautiful girl. I love this portrait. The composition, exposure, skin tone, eye contact, pose and her expression are all excellent. Great choice of location. The lighting is wonderful except for her eyes. She needs more light on her eyes. They are mostly in shadows and they need catchlights to give them life. You should also lighten the dark circles under her eyes.I do agree with Burak that you have a problem with her right hand. It is behind her left forearm. You have essentially cropped her hand off at her wrist. You don't want to crop at a joint. It can make her look like an amputee.Your name is not part of the photograph. It is quite appropriate to place your name on a mat surrounding the photograph.Nice shot,Mark Link to comment
gungajim 75 Posted January 18, 2011 The staircase is virtually identical to the one in a place where I stayed in Lviv, Ukraine - except that Chloe wasn't on it? Nice shot. Link to comment
