GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted January 15, 2011 Richard, I am so sorry, I don't visit you nearly enough, and your images never fail to 'touch' me on so many levels. You have such a 'feel' for an 'intimate' connection between the view and your compositions. Always soft and mysterious, calming at the same time, and often as in this one wit the sun glowing through the mist, a sense of hope. thankyou so much for sharing this shot. The last few days have been difficult for me, and for me, this image shows a sense of 'hope' above what appears to be 'dark'. Truly beautiful. Warmest regards, Gail Link to comment
rekaras 0 Posted January 15, 2011 Thank you so much I'm glad I could help to brighten your situation. I find peace in so much of creation and have not been able to do to much this passed 2010. So I have resorted to the archives. Hope things improve for you this new year. Take care, rek. Link to comment

t37traveler 0 Posted January 21, 2011 one simple word: ethereal, delicate, calming, magical ... oops, see I am way past one word.... this is a lovely piece of work. Well done. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 21, 2011 Richard, I'll add another bravo for this wonderful capture. Light is everything, and you have found it and created an impressionistic, soft, and moody piece of art. I am in full agreement with Gail's comments. This image of a simple and common site also proves that its the eye and vision of the photographer that matters. The eye must see correctly to record what's in the brain. You did a marvelous job. Thanks for posting this. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 23, 2011 Interesting image and tones, Nice sky to the left of the image with the sun reflecting off the clouds. Foreground is nice except for some of the darker patches in the right lower but all in all very creative. Link to comment
