patrickwells 2 Posted January 23, 2011 I like this photo a lot. your POV using the tree to hide the harshness of the light, and the branch on the right to help define the edge works nicely. The orange cast from the light on the snow and night all work together very well to give a sense of peace and quiet.I have mixed emotions about the red line at the end of the road. A small Part of me thinks it would be better gone. the other part sees it helping define a horizon ,and end of road ,in the dark.Overall a great job. Pat Link to comment
scottsmorra 0 Posted January 25, 2011 Very nice night image Michael. I really like the warm orange glow found throughout the scene. The rays of light coming from behind the tree are a nice touch. Link to comment
Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted December 20, 2014 I have always like the way artificial light illuminates a scene, giving a different perspective than what we might see during the day.In this project the light casts deep shadows and the resistance of fog to make a dramatic presents here. Good depth is contained here, especially with the far light silhouetting the bush. Link to comment
