Thanks MJ! The minutes I took this earlier this morning I right away wish I was closer. The lighting was perfect, the bird fly low right above the water and  I could have been about 15 feet closer. That would have helped the image a lot more. Have a great evening MJ!

Hi TmJ.... great image.... even better bigger. Don't beat yourself up over the 15 feet... wildlife are never where they are supposed to be. We wildlife photogs appreciate the degree of difficulty associated with most of the wildlife images posted on PN. Having said all that....... If you don't want this image, I'll have it.

Thank Grayham! You are absolutely right, there's always the next time and these actors/actresses don't behave the way we want them .. ever. :-) - I was going to move that 15 feet but there some cormorants sun bathing and I did not want to disturb them was the reason ... then this duck flew by ..
