Andrea, I really like the composition with all of the curves, particularly the way the arches of the bridge echo the arcs of the castle wall. The two figures give a nice sense of scale.

thanks a lot everybody, my friende, and sorry if iìm not spending enough time here tosee and partecipate. a curiosity, if like: i tried here to respect, in the comp, the rules of the "golden section". spiral and rectangles works, but not the segments... anyway, it has be funny

Andrea, I right away recognized this setting from the castle Sant'Angelo , although this appears to have been taken from a lower angle, as well as more towards the left of your earlier capture. Although I very much like the different elements & textures visible (especially the reflection of the bridge) in your capture, there is something about this one, that doesn't quite seem to work for me. I wondered at first if it was the POV in general, and the lower angle compared to your other one, but I actually believe that it might be the right side of your photo... Eliminating just a tiny part of the curved road (on the R) and leaving just a hint of it, would still connect the two curved elements ( at the top & bottom of your capture) and possibly make it more striking (simplify & unify). Anyway, these are just my thoughts :-)  I hope that you are doing ok! -- will try emailing you again this week ( has been quite busy here..) Gr, M

What I like about this one is the texture of the water framed by the bridge reflection, the road on the right, and the walls at the bottom.  As Jon noted, the girl at the bottom and the one on the right (almost missed her)  lends some scale to this landscape.  I don't know what colour would add to this shot but B&W works well, for me at least.  Best, LM.
