This bridge is one of many covered bridges in upstate New York. In

2000 the County of Delaware (source of the Delaware river) had all the

covered bridges in the County rebuilt using the style and materials of

the originals with only small adjustments including increasing size of

structural members for more support. Nothing that couldn't have been

done originally around one hundred years ago. I passed this on my way

to school my first semester and had to capture it the next time i came

back home. I love Architecture especial old American, from a time

where function was paramount over form. These bridges were Important

to link together communities and the roof protected the bridges from

being degradation by the elements, important in Rural communities

where maintenance was a problem.

Beautiful place and of very relaxing atmosphere, your exposure value is so well set here and the DOF brought out all of the fine details all over the frame work, the tone is another superb factor here and enhances the composition composition.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.
