Thanks Miguel! It's hard to catch the eye but the most difficult thing about the Amercan Coot is that the beak tend to over-expose since it's too white. The combination of black coat and super white beak and difficult red eyes make this bird a challenge to shoot well. This one is one of my better shot and I have plenty of uglier ones.  Happy .. birdshooting! :-)
