Very interesting looking creature..  Tack sharp and wonderful colors.  You did a great job bringing out the texture in his(her) body, and the little whiskers.  Also, I like the similar symmetry of it's back hump/fin and the thorn on the plant stem.

It doesn't have any black globules, but it does have a big hump. What is it for? Good detail and outstanding bg as usual.

Christopher,

Great lighting & details for both the subject (Hopper), branch and protruding thorn!

Nice background & framing too!

Every shot of yours is executed to perfection and this one is no exception. I always enjoy viewing your work. I love the colors in this one, and I have never seen this bug before.

Absolutely beautiful work. Color, crop, and balance are near-perfect. It is hard to hide the use of flash diffusers but very artistic shot done wiht great skill. Best regards, Linh Dinh

What a strange beast this is! I don't want any in my yard lol!

It makes a beautiful photo with the details on the stem and the lovely colourful background.

All the best!

How do you obtain your subject name?! :-)

A more general comment on your portfolio page.
