It is not any more disrespectul than to anyone else.  Some will accomodate and some not. For me it is difficult to ask anyone no matter who they are.

I agree, Its not easy to photograph people on the street. You are lucky he seems to have more than coperated.

He's probably indicating in the affirmative:  " OK, just one!"  Do you ever offer copies to your subjects?  If so, next time you might get:  "OK, take two!"  :-)   Always a treat to see your latest.  Best, LM.

I do not recall what he was indicating. You may be correct. I do offer a print if I know I will see him/her again or can leave it somewhere; or carry a print around if perchance. This man is not one of those. I have prints spread around like "Johnny Appleseed" has apples. thank you for your input and kind remark.
