Wouter Willemse 851 Posted August 25, 2012 The framing of the photo leaves me a bit in between thoughts. I like the skewed angle, but I feel it's not extreme enough - I'd look for much stronger diagonals, probably.A second thing is that the framing does not really emphasise much that this church is destroyed, it almost manages to look normal unless one realise that it probably was a round window above the portal and door. It's not a bad thing, that it's not immediately obvious, but it leaves again a bit a doubt: do you want to show the level of destruction, or the extend to which the church is still standing. I know (and sorry) that I sound very negative. From this photo, I can understand this place has a strong photographic potential probably. I just have a problem seeing which message you want to tell with this photo, as your framing leaves it very ambiguous to me. Link to comment
