gsphotoguy 2 Posted January 8, 2011 There is a very interesting casual feel to this. It almost looks like a moment between poses that you happened to capture. I have seen images like this in my own work when made at a workshop where the model is looking at another photographer and I happen to release the shutter at the same time. The image works for me, John, well done! Link to comment

moontide 0 Posted January 9, 2011 Hi Jon,Above all else, this is simply a gorgeous image. No wonder such beautiful girls pose for you!I continue to be amazed by your work, I love the way your photos seem to honour the models you work with. Bravo! Link to comment
John Peri 1,007 Posted January 9, 2011 Many thanks to all .. the blur effect incidentally is due to the 300 mm lens, which becomes a 450 mm in fact with my NIKON D 90. Link to comment
Ziggy01 1 Posted January 11, 2011 I like the pose. I decided to see how it would look color corrected. See my tweak. Link to comment
John Peri 1,007 Posted January 11, 2011 Thank you my friend. Admittedly, I don't "understand though the word "corrected" in this context. The original image is substantially closer to reality. Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 2 Posted January 11, 2011 I like how the sunglasses complement the dramatic facial expression and how the nightgown creates a slight color contrast with her hair and face. Kudos to you both. Jim Phelps Link to comment
glenn_stear 1 Posted January 11, 2011 The master pulls it off again! Oops.... that sounds a bit rude. Wonderful image that I can't fault. Great use of props and image control. Oh and the model ain't half bad either. Translation for non English speakers: The young lady is very beautiful. Link to comment
