wonderful macro!

Unusual comp - I like it. Might crop some off the left; as regards texture, this one feels a little gritty - as if a over-sharpened, whereas an Iris is beautifully soft. Perhaps that was your artistic intention.

I have photographed iris for over 20 years. I like your approach with the bud coming along side of the fall and the beard. I like that you captured the "fairy dust" or irredescence also.

Quite a nice macro picture. I might have prefered it with the petal coming out of the plane being slightly better lit.

Beautiful colors and composition. Also the Nikon 950 with its 2.0 MP, blows away many 4 MP cameras. The Macro on this and all Nikon CoolPix cameras are awesome. Keep up the great work.

J'essaie à tous les jours de prendre des photos «MACRO» et je trouve que je fais beaucoup de progrès, mais j'ai beaucoup de diffilculté avec l'arrière plan pour le rendre «FLOU»! Peut-être que vous pouvez me donner des conseils, vous qui être si «PROFESSIONNEL»!

C'est une photo macro intérassante avec une prospective trés originale et en plus elle est techniquement perfaite.

Unusual viewpoint, very artistic, 6/6

Good sharp macro of this Iris. Nice composition with the yellow against the green. I feel like I could touch this flower and have the pollin come off on my fingers. Very realistic close view.
