alberto.conde 0 Posted January 9, 2003 I uploaded the original slide a couple of days ago and Guillermo Labarca suggested that in B&W would look great. What do you think? Link to comment
vvazquez 0 Posted January 9, 2003 Me lo parece a mi o la versión que te mando Guillermo es más nítida... ? Link to comment
jordi_serra 0 Posted January 9, 2003 Creo que el tema es apropiado para el B&N, en mi opinión la dejaría tal cual. Un abrazo. Link to comment
natasha_pina 0 Posted January 9, 2003 Para mi en blanco y negro se ve muy bien. Buena foto! Link to comment
chrisastall 0 Posted January 11, 2003 The Castle could do with being a little sharper, and I am not sure of the tree on the left. Link to comment
phalvorson 0 Posted January 12, 2003 I have struggled with this one. I like all the texture and the b/w rendition but feel that the wall takes the main focus which I'm not sure was intended. Don't get me wrong, I do like the wall but the castle seems second in importance. I have attached a jpeg version with some major cropping & other minor adjustments. What do you think? Maybe I have killed the picture. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted January 13, 2003 Thanks Palmer, I don't think you killed the picture at all. You may have, even, discovered the correct composition!I do, however, still like my version a lot, because of the contrast between the stone wall and the dominant castle in the background, but I don't object to your version because it gives more importance to the castle while keeping the wall. The main diference is that the struggle for the protagonism of the pic between the wall and the castle does not take place anymore in yoursI have included your version in a smaller file for ease of reference, should anyone come by this picture Link to comment
jfnahas 1 Posted January 27, 2003 Very cool picture, thanks for sharing! Please review this photo I would like your input in ratings/comments to improve my architectural photos. Thanks a lot! Link to comment
photogabby 1 Posted February 2, 2003 This one definitely works better in black and white, much more evocative of period. I like both croppings. Link to comment
yahia_shawkat 0 Posted February 4, 2003 B&W certainly MADE this shot, while IMHO this crop works better in the sense of giving it a story between castle and wall, while the other crop works better if it were just a rendition of the castle Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted February 9, 2003 está un poco "blanda"? Quizá le vendría bien una máscara de enfoque... Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted February 10, 2003 Gracias, Néstor pero para ello tendría que saber como hacerlo, salvo que te refieras al unsharp mask (USM)¿Es eso? Link to comment
