Two ideas:

The shoulder is little bit too prominent in respect to her face. A slightly higher vantage point would help.

I would get rid of the folds in her neck turning her slightly to her left.

Tore,

She is a very pretty girl. You have focused well on her eyes. Her make-up is very good. Her skin tone is excellent. Her butterfly (Hollywood) lighting is very nice. The background is nicely neutral and she is quite well separated from it. The contrast and color saturation is very good.

I have to agree with Luca about her shoulder being too prominent. Be careful of foreshortening. Watch for anything closer to the camera than the body. If nearer the camera than her body her feet, knees, hands, elbows and shoulders will look out of proportion to the rest of the body -- larger than normal -- foreshortened. Moving the camera up might help some, but I would suggest that you position her so that her shoulder is more towards the back. This would put her at less than 90˚ to the camera. You usually do not want to have your subject turned 90˚ to the camera. This can make the head look unsupported. Generally, it looks best to angle your subject somewhere around 45˚. Turning her would alleviate the wrinkles in her neck which I don't really find as disconcerting as Luca does.

It somewhat bothers me that she is looking slightly to the left (her right) of the camera and where her head is pointing. If not making eye contact with the camera (viewer), the eyes should follow the line of the nose. It is natural to look where your head is pointing. If looking off to the side you should show what she is looking at or provide a reason that she is not looking where her head is pointing.

Another concern I have that her catchlights are below the center of her pupils, even though the shadow of her nose is below her nose -- butterfly lighting. The shadow below her nose would indicate that the main light would be located above eye level, making her catchlights above the center of her pupils. I would think this contradiction would be noticed by many viewers.

I would tone down a tad the bottom specular highlight on her lower lip.

Nice shot,

Mark

Tore, you always have such beautiful, glamorous models. The line of her neck is great against her dark hair. Her eyes and lips are wonderful as are the soft lights in her hair.

The facial portrait is beautiful and a very nice exposure.

I looked at the criticisms and they had merit.  I did a quick look through the reviews.   I have a sense to fix them you can reshoot or edit the photo.  The main focus of the shot is the face and the hair to some degree.  If you can have her pose again for you that is best but if you can't  a good edit would fix or cover up most of the problems that I have read.

I think since you got the hardest part which is the face very well the rest can be fixed easily but just learn for the next time.  The people will notice the face first and won't be as concerned about the rest of body.

Excellent work on the face.

A portrait which sent back in time in a period when elegance and style were at higher price. Very classy, very sexy, in the best sense of the word. Also the black background contributes very well to this combination. That is a picture that is pretty hard to do. Love the lighting also. My best regards. Cosmin

Very impressive lighting! Wonderful tones. The shoulder doesn't bother me. I personally prefer this shot than the one with the flowers.

Great work!

Best regards,

Alain
