Amazing effect of composition. Very quiet atmosphere. The clouds in a very beautiful tone and colors. I also like this small bird with its wide wings in the upper left side. Thank you Len for sharing such instructional works.

Good to have your views on this, my latest offering.  It was dusk and the sun, now just below the horizon, still set the clouds ablaze with colour.  The clouds were the main attraction with the breakwater and the now permanently anchored ship providing a bit of framing and context for them.  The hull of the ship is in fact very dark and even with the judicious use of the 'dodge' tool (wouldn't want to make it too obvious)  in Photoshop detail in that area is hard to make out, especially on the web version.  The bird, upper left?  Well, as I've said before, Luck is good!  :-) Best, LM.

I'm with Museeb on this one. It's a very strong composition with exceptional color and tone. The pastel softness of the clouds are a good contrast to the linear darkness of the ship.

The composition revolves around the clouds as the light was falling rapidly and there wasn't much use for the ship except to help frame them.  I was initially worried that the lower part would come across as 'muddy' but this presentation looks pretty much as I experienced the scene.  Best, LM.

One of my 'keepers' from a day's shooting with an old friend.  We started out at the Korean War Memorial in Brampton & went south to the lake from there.  Good thing you renewed.  Rumor had it the truncheon armed  PN cops were heading for your house to collect the arrears.  Good to hear you are circulating again.  Get rid of that cold & keep your distance from others so contaminated.  ***Touch Wood*** We've been fine here.  Looking forward to another outing when the weather is more civil.  Stay connected.  Best, LM.
