first reaction: the total scale of colors is very fine, the subject is charming, are the persons behind a problem? The red and yellow on it self are too heavy, yes the extra colors were needed. So, using your feeling, you made a "rather" good choise and decission in shooting this scene.

second reaction: by studying your portfolio it seems that you are, if shooting people, a rather modest photographer. A kind of scout, a kind of sniper, often keeping a save, modest distance. That's probably indicating a modest character, so not bad. Now the question is; why are you rather close here?

third reaction: your different beach-shot "seashore tourists" is showing the tourists in the distance, the landscape seems to be the hottest item. However, the "closest by" are (already) the children in red and yellow. Both of them and without parents.

fourth reaction: maybe is the shooter the father..! It can declare the short distance above and even the idea of being positioned on that spot. Indeed, "curiosity" is shown, however the ferm holding of brother's arm by the older sister can tell the boy didn't voluntarily ran to his place. And what about the posture (head, feet) of the girl? She seems a bit frozen.

You make me very curious Robert. :) Why? If indeed being your children, I possibly also would have tried another camera position. For yes, the circumstances indeed were great and next there must have been plenty of time. Hope to hear the uncensured and complete story..! :) Kindly regards..! Olaf.
