I love the tones, and the painting-like background blur, but most of all I love her expression. You've captured a wonderful moment. Great model, too. I like the grain, too.

Jingna,

She is a beautiful girl. You have focused well on her eyes. She has very nice eye contact with the camera (viewer). I love the windblown hair and her expression. The background is nicely out of focus and she is well separated from the background.

I don't understand the purpose of the blue tint. It isn't the shade of blue you would use to simulate night, so I can't think of a purpose for it. Maybe she is hunched over because you mean for her to look cold (blue)? That really doesn't work, either.

Her shoulders are pushed forward making her top open up. I think this might look better if she was standing up straighter with better posture.

Your subject should have more room in front of her than behind. This allows her to be facing into the picture, not out of it. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph. By positioning the tip of her nose in the vertical center of the photograph you not only have her facing into the picture, but you have good left and right compositional balance.

I cropped it a tad and tried to remove some of the blue.

The advertising (zhangjingna.com) is not part of the photograph. It would be quite appropriate to place your name on a mat surrounding the photograph. Any advertising would be better placed on the back of the photograph.

Nice shot,

Mark

A true masterpiece. Did not even have to look a the name under the picture.

Only you can create an image of such quality. 10+, unfortunately the scale only goes to 7.

I' admirer a photograph who is not afraid to do his or her own thing, i look at this as an up to date fashion shoot, when you give your critique don't say you should do this or you should that, rules can be broken, not all photos need to be a textbook example, it would be a very boring wold we lived in, Great image, and very well done...

I like the dynamics of this portrait, her posture and the flowing hair makes it come alive.  She has engaging eye contact and an enigmatic expression which is very compelling. I dont particularly like the blue overcast but it`s an artistic choice you have made, and you must have your reasons for it. Overall this is a great portrait. Regards - michel

I love the cooling effect of the blue tint and the crop works great, I wouldn't change anything.

The picture is good as it is. This is a fashion cliche, and looking at it I get impression as if I have seen  this shot already (it resembles works by Annie Leibovitz, Natalia Vodyanova's posters, shots in ELLE magazine, etc...). A cooler tint does well here.

Suprisingly, I expecred to see higher average rating.

Regards.

A perfect example where color cast adds to beauty of image. Blue cast makes her merge with her dress and the background (both are blue). The monochromatic picture is much more appealing than the colored version. I also like the original cut better than crop. Well done.

When you start following "rules", you lose what makes your art unique. Follow your instincts.

Very creative portrait. I really like the blue tones in this image as it suggests the cold and I can almost feel the wind that blows through her hair. The blue tone also works well with the title you have chosen and the dark, cold mystery or pain it implies. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :)
