Sunrise through the Pines

This is a Minnesota winter sunrise photo as the sun light makes its way

through the pine forest in northern Minnesota this December

Beautiful, and looks especially good when viewed large (surprising to see this resolution from a small sensor!). This shot communicates the "mood of the moment" very well, always a commendable achievement.

The character and direction of the light makes it that!

The light in the background with its gold color and the arrangement of the trees (especially with the smaller trees in front of what are otherwise bare trunks with dead branches) are wonderful -- very nice photo.
