Morning rituals on the Ganges

Interesting shot and very exotic to me. The colours suit the mood.

This is an expertly framed photograph.  The off-center man, the portion of the boat (you don't need more to convey what it is, and that the man most likely came from it), the larger sky (vs. the water) allowing the birds to glide upwards in the frame...really well done.  And the muted, warm colors do lend it an exotic feel and convey morning effectively.

Thanks very much Michael. A small correction:  the pilgrims wash themselves along the Ganges in between the moored boats. The boat was just parked there like many other boats. As part of the morning ritual some people also feed the birds, like happened here. That's why there were so many.
