I found this young girl at a family reunion, she found this dog

abandoned and was taking it home. Tell me what you think or what could

make it a better shot.

In my opinion the most important element in photos of kids is their expression and you seem to have that aced.  I'm not sure of your reason for this tilted framing but everyone's 'artistic license' is exercised differently.  I ran this one through photoshop to remove the tilt and see what I could do to make a more conventional shot out of it.  Forgive the sloppy cloning.  Your colour version is probably the superior image but I converted to B&W partly to cover up that sloppy cloning & partly because it is MY favourite medium for people photos.  Best, LM.

So, Len cloned out the stones and that's a nice touch.  I also like the the B&W but the color is nice, maybe it's just the lighting and that's what the conversion helps more than anything.  The tilt doesn't bother me as much as Len, like he said "artistic license'".  At any rate I think it's totally cute and I hope the spend many happy years together.
