This is a really excellent idea John. The almost "chalk and charcoal" appearance of the image works very well.

My only suggestion is the model needs more light on her face on the left side. You really cannot see her right eye very well, and the lack of any kind of catchlight makes her eyes look kind of dull and lifeless. I just "dodged" her face a little to open up the shadows.
