This was the view looking out of my garage as I began to clear the snow

from last week's blizzard. The three large snow piles are my three cars!

You can see the wind was still blowing the snow around.

Many could have failed to bring this image in such a remarkable form un deer such climate condition but you did a great job and presented an image which very well connect with the viewers, your exposure is set to its optimum quality and the DOF superbly brought out all of the fine details here.

Oh Wow! And I thought the UK had a lot of snow!  Looks like you won't be going anywhere for a while, which must be a curse when you know that there are so many great photo opportunities. Great insight to the weather in NJ.

Niki and Jim - Happy New Year to you too. Fortunatley by the New Year a good part of this was gone.

Alf - Fortunately, mt daughters and I got this mostly cleared up within a day. The street was cleared later in the day so by the next day we could get out quite well. Thank you for the comment.

hi MARK..the foggy background is perfect for this settings. emphasizes the dampness. like you once said. most people just cant seem to make snow look like real snow as you have here.now lets go play...Sam

Samme - Thank you for the comment. I tend to work hard on snow images to get this look. We got more last night and I'm home from work. I have stitches on my back from a minor proceedure and can't do anything much. At least I can enjoy looking at it:-)
