Guest Guest Posted December 27, 2010 Outstanding outdoor modeling work of very remarkable lighting and amazing details alone g with great b/w format choice, the con traits and tone are superb and the child expression and his eye contacts with the viewers do add a lot of great interest to this well thought off composition.Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you a very Happy and Peaceful New Year. deb1 0 Posted December 27, 2010 Thank you so much for seeing all the beauty in the image that I saw through the viewfinder! It was a special adventure for her and I think the excitement was evident in her expression for sure. I don't know if you experience this, but sometimes, as I look through the viewfinder, I can actually see it in black and white so I know I must convert it to realize my vision. deb Link to comment
tony-mistretta 0 Posted December 27, 2010 I like the way the girl's body is posed to make best use of the broad side lighting and create a strong contrast between her face and the dark hill behind her. You have successfully captured the excitement that she shows about her adventure. The scarf and boots add a touch of fashion to what would otherwise be ordinary. My only suggestion is maybe to try a more shallow depth of field, although I recognize that may be difficult on such a bright and sunny day. Link to comment
tonyfrench 0 Posted December 29, 2010 Deb, I like the wind blowing her hair and the scarf, it seems to add to the sense of excitement and adventure. The black and white works very well with a nice range of tones. I love the boots. Link to comment
