Nice concept, David. I like many of your German Shorthair Portraits, but this one leaves me wanting for just a little more contrast, a little more color, a little more something. I think I'd like it better if the cloth were olive and perhaps less well lit. Beautiful dog though.

David - The color, contrast, and saturation look right to me - any more and I suspect the processing would look overdone.  Perhaps just a difference in monitor calibration?  I do thank you for your input though - it's always valuable to consider alternatives.

Hans, the "Cavalier" Gentleman.  I'm not sure what the couch color is, but the liver color so typical on the GSH breed looks spot on.   Looks like a good one for over the mantle...  Excellent detail... Mike
