Hi Sam, interesting moment. IMO the tonality and ISO grain could be improved here. Why did you set ISO at 800? Did you take it maybe during sunset / sunrise under available light? BR / Volker

thank you very much for your kind comments & serious critique.

I had set the camera on aperture priority, the rest of the settings were automatically done by the camera. Yet I had to have a short exposure as the animal was moving all the time. That's how ISO 800 came about.

Sunrise had just happend but the kangaroo was still in the shade from the house on the dune where I stood.

I'll attach a reduced size version of the image as it came out of the camera.

The image shown here has been created with software on the computer.
