"West Sea" is the area of western edge of Yellow Mountains. This photo

was taken from Pai-Yun Pavilion, which is a place to view the

magnificent mountain ridges of West Sea in Yellow Mountains.

This portion of mountain ridges was actually quite low to the sky. I

used a 3 stop ND to achieve a 2 minute exposure, and a 3 GND (soft)

was also used to capture enough details of the foreground mountains.

Consequently, the sky light after sunset penetrated down to the whole

frame and presented an interesting pink tone.

Thanks for viewing this image.

Nice moody image.  I like the monochromatic effect here.  The layered mountains contrasting with the foreground mountain close-up is most effective.

I love the tones and forms in this photo.  I also really like the strong contrast of the rugged, dark foreground ridge with the softer, layered mountains in the background.  Very nice work.
