Technically a very impressive portrait of an interesting person. Light and tones are perfect and create a compelling gloomy atmosphere. I like his posture, his right arm guiding my eye into the photo across tattoos towards his face, which - as brightest area - attracts my attention. The waistcoat suits very well both as a counterpart to his left arm and as calming element (otherwise there would have been too much of the agitating tattoos undermining overall atmosphere). His covered left eye adds a mysterious aspect.

His facial expression, however, puzzles me a bit - to me it looks more contemplative and content than I would have expected from title and overall atmosphere.

Yet, all in all, a very impressive and stylish (in the sense that it has an artistic style) portrait.

Too much light on the forehead, face, and left arm in my opinion.  I would also like to see the pinky finger moved away from the eye.  I like the expression and it is a very interesting subject.  Also like the contrast of the image and of the tats to suit vest.  Nice job.  Best regards...Brent
