olafdevries 0 Posted December 22, 2010 Haha, reading your different comments, I would call you a very kindly and very (!) well photographing diplomat. Yes, that's Duch in a very straight way. I'm only a no nonsence photographer just acting in seconds. Light, good background and fine object should give a tasty result, thé challange of "Street".Wish you and yours a rather calm and fruitful new year. Will that still be possible? Haha, my Wife and our daughter are visiting Israël now, maybe changing stones for snowballs. Rashed, the Middle east is the meltingpot, people are more "yours" than they often are thinking, while at the same time "some blindness" seems to be dictated. Peace, forced by just the people is impossible, Heavenly plans and forces are needed and yes that's at work! At this very moment I wished we both could drink some tea together, yes that really would be very nice. Diplomatic, and photographing (!) diplomats often do have a sence of humor and wisdom you know. :) Regards, Olaf. Link to comment
matthijs 0 Posted December 27, 2010 Very nicely composed. I also like the mirror like quality of the ladies, parallel legs, mirrored arms and heads. Intimate in a bleak (office) area. Well seen and well shot. It might benefit from a slightly wider crop, especially at the top, but that might destroy the intimacy. Choices choices... All the best, Matthijs. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted December 28, 2010 about the top you are right, however there was no decent space left..! :) Thanks for observing and reacting. It's the new "square" before the train station in Groningen, the many students forinstance can park their bikes now beneath this surface. The ladies are walking across the circle formed windows. Choises, yes haha.. I do have a slightly wider crop.. However, by the fact the complete amount of pixels isn't uploaded, I was loosing to much color-, contrast- and skin details. Did hesitate at least ten times..! :) See you, Olaf. Link to comment
