tommiller 1 Posted December 22, 2010 Overall, I like this, but for my taste the contrast is a little too much. I see in some other images in this folder that you've used high contrast to good effect, but IMHO, I don't think this image gains anything from it.Regards, Tom Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted December 22, 2010 After reading your first comment, I decided to play with the image. My first opinion had been that she had a very hard look toward the photographer or camera. To my surprise lowering the contrast made her look soften. Normally I would upload my experiment but because I did not have the original file I could not get all parts of the image to look good.I do suggest you try to make a soft contrast version from the original.Jerry Link to comment
william_staniforth 0 Posted December 22, 2010 Thanks for your comment . I'm not sure whether I agree , maybe if the background had been darker it would have worked better . Thankyou for your interest . Bill Link to comment
william_staniforth 0 Posted December 22, 2010 Thanks for your time and interest . I take your point on board . I thought the contrast and hard look went with " The Look " . However I will try another version at a later date . Bill Link to comment
