Never really sure if the balance of light is correct.

I have not done any HDR lately, prefer standard adjustments, contrast etc.

Honest feedback welcomed.

I find this very appealing image and with wonderful lighting, the details are of very fine nature and so the colors, the reflection adding more beauty to this well connecting image with the viewers.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you an d yours a very Happy New Year.

Hi Dennis..... this image works for me too. I appreciate the effort you obviously put into creating this shot, which leaves me with the question of "how did he do that?" That's photography!

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hi Dennis...Nice capture. I love the reflections. I have rode in the balloons a few times while shooting for local newspaper during an annual balloon festival. In my area it is hard to get low winds for a ride. Looks like there was not a ripple of wind on the night you shot this. Scary when you first go up in a balloon (I don't like flying), but you forget all that when experiencing the beauty of silently drifting through the sky.....Pure heaven!

I have a few pix from my rides. Darn links did not pop right up.You would have to copy/paste to see them.

Love the symmetry of the reflections.  I think you have done the best you could with this one by capturing the warm translucent glow of the balloons. You did well to capture them ALL in a  flight-ready condition.   Had you been able to control the time of the inflations (I don't think you had that kind of clout)  you may have been able to take it a bit earlier in the day and thereby capture a tad of colour in the sky area.  (the deep blue of the sky at that time would have contrasted beautifully with the warmth you did manage to capture).  A keeper in any case.  Best, LM.
