Wonderful image - this is especially effective when viewed larger.  The vertical repetition, color gradations in the trees, and the striking contrast in the luminous backlit textured branches all give this capture impact. And the tree with the crack or wound in the bark foreground center tree directs the eye backward through the image.  As I stare at this image, I am also impressed with the line up of the trees that almost form "walls" in their groupings.  Perhaps the tree with the wound should be more to the side - strictly a matter of how you see the image.  Thanks for posting this image.  I can see the forest through the trees.  Excellent image.
