Hi Larry -You have captured an interesting image very nicely, the coal dropping from the bucket & being leveled off & with the ever present supervisor. The thick fog creates a gloomy feeling to the image,Curious what caused the similar damage to the panels in the coal car & the real white spot in the fog is unusual. All in all a well crafted capturing all the interesting aspects of the scene.Well done. Best Regards-Ross

Ross,  Hi.  It's hard to realize that it's been three years since the Burlington Nothern Santa Fe derailment in Wayzata, Minnesota.  I didn't get to the site until hours after it occurred.  The white plume is from the bulldozer.  The derailment happened in a commercial area adjacent to some office buildings.  Rails were torn out and hurled close to buildings.  Fortunately, no one was hurt. This was a long loaded coal train moving east from Wyoming.  Happy holidays to you and your family.  Larry
