Wonderful find and remarkably imbed and captured, the details are very fine here and so the colors while the DOF superbly blurred the background to give a very pleasant atmosphere which is adding to the well worked composition of nice image.

Looks to be some kind of sandpiper. Got him at the right moment with his tasty little morsel. Do you know the common name?

Dear Monte . Thanks for your comments. The common name of this bird in Italy is Gambecchio, in other countries it is known as Dunlin  or Temminck's stint. Somebody else could be more exact, ciao Giangiorgio
