jud 0 Posted January 4, 2003 I like the rails in this one, and the clouds add so much. Wish there was just a bit more light/detail in the foreground, or more mountains. Very moody! Hope you like the camera-- my d60 is in the mail... Regards, Jud Link to comment
sphoto 0 Posted January 5, 2003 I dont know when this was uploaded, but I expected several thousand views and very high ratings. Great picture, the lighting and balance of the image is superb. Link to comment
tom_westbrook 0 Posted January 6, 2003 Excellent photo. Very nice balance between fore- and background. The border and drop shadow is distracting & does nothing for the photo--in fact it tends to draw the viewer's attention out of the frame. Link to comment
phalvorson 0 Posted January 6, 2003 The sky is amazing! Did you use a graduated ND filter? I would have liked to give it a 6 aesthetically but the white knife-line between the foreground and the lake is distracting to me. Link to comment
frank_hill1 0 Posted January 8, 2003 The incredible sky and brooding mountains are what I noticed. A second look revealed the reflecting tracks; I really enjoy this composition. Link to comment
andrei_nicoara 0 Posted January 9, 2003 absolutely marvelous! I keep coming back to this photo. I like very much the composition - it gives a superb sense of being there. Good work! Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted January 25, 2003 Lighting is perfect in this one, but I don't like the composition quite as well. Link to comment
jeff nichols 0 Posted January 26, 2003 dave, youve captured some great shots of cloud formations with great exposure, but I think the foreground sometimes distracts from an otherwise beautiful shot. Have you tried cropping out some of these? maybe just my impression? Link to comment
slide 0 Posted February 12, 2003 Great range of colors, the reflections on the rails makes it. Link to comment
jamesmorophotography 0 Posted February 22, 2003 daaaaamn....... surreal! I love the contrast between the cool, mysty mountains and the orange sky. again, you've successfully used the rails to whisk the view through the foreground, then allowing the eye to wander across the magnificent span of the background. canoe guide 0 Posted September 24, 2003 you are creating images in a majestic place. Why cheese it up with cheap tricks and effects? Try giving nature a chance to speak on its own. You've got a good eye. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted November 9, 2003 Superb ! I appreciate that you place railroad lines in your photos. It gives an additionnal attraction to them. Link to comment
